I’ve recently upgraded my handset and have realised it’s not quite right for me. How do I go about exchanging it?

Hi @FlissOs

Thank you for getting in touch.

If you’ve upgraded your handset and decided it’s not quite right for you, you may be able to return it under our cooling-off period.

For upgrades ordered directly with iD Mobile (online or via sales), you normally have up to 30 days from the date you received the phone to request a return, provided the device is still in good condition and meets the returns criteria.

To proceed, you’ll need to:
• Contact our Customer Service or Live Chat team https://www.idmobile.co.uk/live-chat or send us private message
• Request a Return Transaction Number
• Follow the instructions provided for sending the handset back

Once the return is processed, your upgrade will be reversed and your contract will revert back to your previous tariff.

Please don’t send the phone back before speaking to us first, as we need to authorise the return.

If you’re outside the returns window, we can still look at other options for you such as plan changes or early upgrade alternatives

Thank you,

Zandile m,

The iD Mobile Team
