set up and roaming charges in cape verde

Hi,

We are travelling to Cape Verde at the end of July, how so we ensure our phones and data will work?

Kindly note that Cape Verde isn't included in iD Mobile's roaming destinations, so there isn't a Roam Beyond add-on available for use there.

If you'd like to use your iD Mobile service while in Cape Verde, you'll be charged at our standard roaming rates. To do this, you'll need to have a bill cap in place.

How to check or change your bill cap:

Log in to the iD Mobile app or your online account.
Go to Bills.
Select Manage Bill Cap.
You can adjust this using the slider or by entering an amount (between £0.00 and up to £75.00, depending on your account type).

Calls to UK*	£6.00
Calls to Cape Verde*	£6.00
Calls received*	£1.50
Texts to Cape Verde**	£1.20

Internet and Data (per MB)***	£9.60

* Price per minute.

** Price per message / text.

*** Data is charged or deducted in one kilobyte (KB) increments and any part KB used will be rounded up to the nearest KB.

Because data is charged at £9.60 per MB, we'd usually recommend purchasing a local SIM or eSIM while you're in Cape Verder, as this is likely to be much more cost-effective if you plan on using mobile data.
