Hi,

I purchased a sim yesterday and it’s on its way via post. Received my confirmation email and its states no switch date selected. I’ve tried to log into the app but it’s saying it doesn’t recognise my mobile number. Please help

Thank you for your message, and apologies for anything that may have caused concern.

In terms of logging into the iD Mobile app, this can only be completed once you have received your SIM card, as a verification code is sent to the SIM to complete the registration and security process.

With regards to transferring your number over, we can certainly assist with this. If you have not yet been able to access the app because your SIM card is still being delivered, our Live Chat Team can process the number transfer request on your behalf.

This is how you can connect to a member of our Live Chat Team:

Visit www.idmobile.co.uk/help-and-support
Scroll down and select Chat to us.
Enter your details when prompted.
Type "talk to a person" in the chat window to be connected to an advisor.

Once connected, an advisor will be able to discuss your number transfer request and guide you through the next steps.
