Switching old ID mobile number to new ID mobile sim

I have ordered a new phone through ID mobile and am having a nightmare trying to transfer my sim across. I have ordered a GiffGaff PAYGO sim to transfer it across but am still in the dark on how to actually get my number across. Is this possible, and or how exactly is it done?

    Thank you for your message.

    We’re really sorry to hear about the difficulties you’re experiencing with transferring your number, and we understand how frustrating this can be.

    To transfer your number, you will need to obtain a PAC code from us, which you would then provide to GiffGaff to move your number to their network. Once this has been completed, you can request a PAC code from GiffGaff and provide it to us so we can transfer your number onto your new iD Mobile contract.

    Please let us know if you already have a PAC code from GiffGaff, and we will be happy to assist you further.
