PAC codes can not be used to transfer between plans within iD Mobile or any network. A PAC code is only used to transfer a number to a new network from a current one. This is why you now have two plans as iD Mobile has seen this as a new contract being taken out and not a change to your current plan.

You have a few options to deal with this:-

Call iD Mobile Sales: Contact the sales team at 0800 049 0250 as they should be able to help with this.

OR

Live Chat: Contact an advisor via Live Chat to discuss this (The Live Chat team are available 9am - 8pm Monday to Friday, and 9am - 6pm Saturday and Sunday) :-

When you contact the Live Chat :-

Type ‘talk to a person’ in the dialogue box and this will bypass the unhelpful chatbot. 

Please be patient as the agents handle a few conversations at any one time so there will be a delay in connecting with an available agent and also any replies to your query.
 

You can also contact iD Mobile by sending a private message via their Socials (Facebook, X or Instagram)

If the Sales team or Live chat fail to help then cancel BOTH plans and ….
Perform a Triangle Port: You can move your number out and back in:
Request a PAC code from iD Mobile using the SIM for your the number you want to keep.
Port the number to a cheap temporary PAYG SIM on a different network (such as SMARTY who also use the THREE network and have comparable priced SIM only plans).
Once transferred, purchase your desired new plan with iD Mobile as a brand-new contract.
Request a PAC code from the temporary network and port your number into your new iD Mobile plan.

It sounds like you've taken out a new iD Mobile plan rather than changing your existing SIM-only plan.

Unfortunately, iD Mobile doesn't support internal number transfers between iD Mobile accounts. Because both plans are with iD Mobile, the PAC code won't work, as PACs can only be used to transfer numbers between different networks.

This means we can't move your existing iD Mobile number onto your new iD Mobile plan.

If you want to keep your existing number, the best option would be to contact the point of sale to discuss returning the new plan (if eligible). You can then contact our Sales Team to upgrade your existing plan correctly.

I'm sorry this isn't the answer you were hoping for, but I hope it explains why the number transfer hasn't worked.
