Transfer an existing iD number to a new contract

I am currently an iD Mobile customer and plan to sign a new contract with them. However, I want to transfer my existing iD number to the new contract because I can get a better deal through Carphone Warehouse—specifically, an 18- or 24-month plan costing £53.99 per month that includes 400GB of data.

@PKWi Hi because your upgrading with id mobile your keep the same number so when you get your new phone just pop.your sim into it and your have the same number still it doesnt matter even if you choose a different tariff your id number stays with you .. thus is from experience as i did this last week 👍

Hi @PKWi,

Unfortunately, it isn’t possible to transfer your existing iD Mobile number directly from one iD Mobile contract to another.

If you take out the Carphone Warehouse deal as a new contract, it will come with a new mobile number and will be separate from your existing iD Mobile plan.

If you want to keep your current number, we’d recommend checking whether the deal can be processed as an upgrade to your existing iD Mobile contract instead. Please contact the point of sale or our Sales Team to discuss the upgrade options available to you.
