Trying to change plan but it says “Oops…something went wrong”

I am trying to change my plan but it says “Oops…something went wrong”.  I believe I am eligible to change my plan and I am being given options, so why can’t I change it?  This is driving me crazy. Anyone have any ideas?

    Hi @Justasking,

We're sorry to hear you're having trouble accessing the upgrade page.

As you're experiencing a blank page in the app and a login loop in your browser, we'd recommend contacting our Sales team via Live Chat. They'll be able to check your upgrade eligibility and help you complete the upgrade if you're unable to do so online.

    Regards,

Gemma - thanks for your message. Please help me to understand something. Your website says that “upgrading” is getting a new SIM and new phone number. “Changing” plan, is keeping the same number but with a different data allowance - this is what I want to do. I had a Live Chat with an advisor but they kept telling me to upgrade. Is this correct?  Why is that different to what your website says?  According to your definitions, I need to change plan, not upgrade. All I want is more data on the same number. Why is this so complicated?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi @Justasking,

I can confirm that this is correct the plan change would be the correct option to choose for this.

    Thanks,
    Hiosai

    Hi @Justasking,

    We're sorry for any confusion.

It may simply be a misunderstanding, as our Sales team will discuss all of the options available to you, which may include upgrading if you're eligible or moving to a different plan if that's more suitable.

If you'd prefer to speak to someone directly, you can contact our Sales team on 0800 049 0250, and they'll be happy to go through the available options with you and explain why upgrading may have been suggested.

    Regards,
