upcoming upgrade

I am due an upgrade and I want to know if the new phone I choose isn't to my liking, can I sell that phone and continue using my current sim/plan in my old phone what I currently have. As long as I make my payments as usual does it matter which phone I use?

    What we can confirm is that when you take out a contract, you agree to a specific minimum term and monthly price. The agreement will remain in place for the full length of that term, and the monthly payments will continue at the amount agreed when the contract was taken out, regardless of how much or how little the service is used.
