Upgrading Your Phone
To upgrade your phone, you can use the iD Mobile app or the My Account online service. The process varies depending on your current plan:
- If you're on a 24-month Pay Monthly Phone plan, you can upgrade two calendar months before the end of your contract.
- If you have a SIM Only Deal, you can upgrade to a new Pay Monthly Phone plan after 6 months.
Steps to Upgrade
- Open the iD Mobile app or log in to My Account Online.
- Tap on "Plan" and then "Upgrades" to browse your exclusive upgrade deals.
- Select a deal and proceed to the basket.
- Complete the identity check using a Debit or Credit card.
- Wait for updates on your order via email.
Troubleshooting
- If your upgrade order fails due to a 1p transaction issue, check that your name and address match the details your bank holds.
- Ensure pop-ups are enabled if ordering online.
- If you're still having problems, contact the support team via Live Chat.
Alternative Upgrade Paths
- To change from a monthly contract to a SIM only plan, view the Upgrades tab on the iD Mobile app/website or call the sales team for assistance. The phone number for the iD Mobile sales team is 020 7139 1397. The sales team is available from 9 AM to 6 PM on weekdays and possibly up to 5 PM on weekends.
