I’m wanting to order a new phone but it is cheaper for a new contract with id mobile through curry’s than upgrading through id mobile. But id like to keep the same number is this possible?

I can understand why you've spotted the price difference and would like to take advantage of the cheaper deal.

If you take out a new iD Mobile contract through Currys/Carphone Warehouse, it may be set up as a new connection with a new mobile number. Unfortunately, iD Mobile doesn't support internal number transfers, so we wouldn't be able to move your existing iD Mobile number onto that new iD Mobile contract.

If keeping your current number is important, the easiest option is to upgrade the existing plan that your number is already attached to.
