​@Matthew.mcivor  Hi there if im not mistaken i do believe you'd have to pay your current contract off first before an upgrade would be considered ! I know my situation i was in was a slightly different but when i wanted to end one of my contracts early i was told by id mobile i could but id have to pay a termination fee but if your staying with id mobile it might be different  phone ! Thank you for your post. It's great to hear you're looking to upgrade and trade in your iPhone 16.

All iD Mobile contracts are eligible to be upgraded 2 months before the expiry date, which allows you to have a new handset while keeping the same mobile number.

If you'd prefer to move to a SIM only plan instead, you're able to upgrade to this 24 days before your contract expires.

​@Marquerita T i'd just like to correct you i dont know where you got your information from but ive already upgraded and ive never once said im trading in a iphone 16 ! So i would like to know where you got this information from ???

Unfortunately, we don’t offer early upgrades before your account becomes eligible. Once you become eligible, you’ll be able to upgrade through the iD Mobile app or contact our Sales Team via Live Chat to discuss the options available to you.

You can also trade in your iPhone 16. Please note that our trade-in service is handled by our sister company, Currys, who will assess the handset and arrange the trade-in payment.
