upgrade error

I am trying to upgrade once I have selected the phone and plan and proceed to check out a messages pops up saying “

We require your email address in order to send you a confirmation of your order including your new monthly cost. Please add one in your My Account Online or in the iD Mobile App.

You will need to return to your basket afterwards.

We apologise for the inconvenience.”

 

 

 

I have logged in with my email address and have my email address on my app and account. 
 

 

anyone know how to sort this out so I can upgrade?
