How often can you get PAC codes and switch networks. Reason I ask is due to ID mobile stiffing their current customers and only offering better prices to new, rather than loyal customers. I was looking at upgrading but saw that the phone I want was more expensive as an upgrade. Even if I decided to pay more the phone is now missing in the upgrade screen but is available on general shop screen (new customers) but I cannot let current contract end and start new one with also keeping same number (ID can’t do this for some reason)

As a work around for this was thinking of PAC code to another network for a month PAYG and then PAC code back to ID after that to take new phone deal at the better price I’ve seen. Would this work. 

Worth doing to save money but not sure if im being dumb but ID making it so difficult.
