upgrade now and upgradw again in october

I want to upgrade as my contract finish next week. 
 

I want to upgrade with plan only sim and I want the new iPhone in September- October.

Can I get now the contract 16£ per month 24 months and upgrade with phone again in September?

    Yes, that's an option.

     

    If you're planning to wait until September or October for the new iPhone, you could upgrade now to a 1-month SIM Only plan. Then, when the new iPhone is available, you'll be able to upgrade again to a pay monthly phone contract.
