Hi. I received an email stating that I am now eligible for an upgrade. Does this also mean I can change to sim only now?

Thanks for your message and great to hear you're looking to explore your upgrade options.

 

Receiving an upgrade email means you're eligible to upgrade your handset, but it doesn’t automatically mean you can change your plan type to SIM only at the same time.

 

If you’re currently in the final stage of your contract, you’ll usually need to wait until you’re within the final 24 days of your agreement ending before you can switch to a SIM only plan or make changes to your existing contract type.

 

At that point, you’ll be able to review SIM only options and choose the one that best suits your needs.
