Upgrades, are they a good deal?

Whether it’s better to upgrade or take out a new deal really depends on what you’re looking for, but there are a couple of key things to keep in mind with iD Mobile:

• If you upgrade, you’ll keep your current plan running smoothly and continue using your existing number
• If you choose a completely new deal, this will create a new plan with a new number

It’s also important to note that iD Mobile doesn’t support internal number transfers, so you wouldn’t be able to move your current number onto a new plan. This means you’d either need to:

• Keep both plans active, or
• Start using the new number on the new deal

If you’re mainly looking for a better price or more data, an upgrade is usually the simplest option. But if you’re after something very different, a new deal might be worth considering.
