You're correct to be cautious about the PAC process.

iD Mobile does not support internal number transfers, which means you cannot use a PAC code to move your existing iD Mobile number onto a new iD Mobile connection taken out through a comparison site such as Uswitch.

If you take out a new iD Mobile plan, it would normally come with a new number, and there isn't a process to transfer your existing iD Mobile number across to it.

If you'd like to keep your current number, your options are generally:

• Upgrade or change your plan on your existing iD Mobile account
• Move your number to another network and then potentially back again at a later date
   

We'd recommend speaking with our Sales team to see what deals are available on your existing account, as they may be able to offer an alternative that allows you to keep your current number.
