    If you upgrade before your next bill, you may see a pro-rated amount on your following bill. This is because part of the bill can relate to your old plan and part to your new plan depending on when the upgrade takes place during your billing cycle.

     

    You would not normally continue paying full monthly charges for both phones as separate agreements following an upgrade in the usual way, but the first bill after upgrading can sometimes look different due to those adjustments.
