If I upgrade my SIM only deal will it take effect straight away? I still have data left (20GB) but want to upgrade to a bigger plan before renewal date (16/5/25). Basically wanting to upgrade early before month ends. I’m on a month contract and have been with iD for a long time

The upgrade will take effect within a few hours, however your allowances will be pro-rated until the allowances refresh.

I am struggling to get upgrade updated and looks like it is taking longer than 48 hours and the customer service is pathetic. They simply do not care.
