Why is there an upgrade now

Why is there an upgrade banner on my account, that is not allowing me to do anything, I am unable to find out the date of contract end. The banner is not clickable to remove it, I find it quite oppressive,that I CANT DO ANYTHING, IF I WANT TO UPGRADE AGAIN WITH I.D MOBILE, then its my choice, not being forced into it, by an unremovable banner, that stop me from viewing MY INFORMATION

I understand the frustration here but I need to be clear and factual about what you’re seeing.

 

📌 Why the upgrade banner is there

The “upgrade” banner in the iD Mobile app/account area is:

  • A promotional and eligibility indicator, not a restriction on your account
  • Shown when your line is approaching upgrade eligibility or is eligible based on contract status
  • It does not block access to your account information by design

It also cannot be removed or dismissed because it is part of the app’s fixed interface.

 

🔎 Why you can’t see your contract end date

This is usually shown in:

  • The iD Mobile app → Account / Plan details
  • Or your welcome email / order confirmation
  • Or your online account dashboard (web login, not banner area)

If the banner is covering navigation or making it hard to access sections, it’s usually:

  • A display/app glitch
  • Outdated app version
  • Cached session issue


🔧 What you should do

Try these steps:

  1. Close and fully reopen the app
  2. Log out and log back in
  3. Update the iD Mobile app to the latest version
  4. If still stuck: delete and reinstall the app
  5. Try logging in via a browser instead of the app

This is on a browser, nothing is clickable, I  should be able to click the banner off, so that I can see my account information

Can not view info on bills, plan, or more , si in effect blocked from veiwing my account
