Why is upgrade more expensive than new contract

We understand why this can be frustrating.

 

Upgrade offers and new customer offers are calculated separately and can therefore differ in price. New customer deals may sometimes include promotional discounts or retailer-specific offers that are not available as part of the upgrade programme.

 

Upgrade pricing is determined based on a number of factors, including the handset selected, tariff, contract length, and any promotions available at the time. As a result, it is not always possible for upgrade offers to match those available to new customers or through third-party retailers.

 

If you'd like to discuss the upgrade options available on your account, we would recommend contacting our Sales Team. They can review your account and advise on any offers that you may be eligible for.

I tried that but told you do not do same deals for existing customers.

I spoke to one of your customer service team who informed me that there was nothing she could do.

If you think you can match price, I will contact you again.

If not I can save money by cancelling contract and starting again.
