I’d honestly go elsewhere.

I tried to get iD Mobile to honour a better price on my upgrade and it has turned into weeks of absolute nonsense. I’ve been passed between teams, given contradictory information and repeatedly had to explain the same issue.

I’m now having to go through a SAR to get the call recordings, live chats and internal records because I’ve been given conflicting information by several members of staff.

For the sake of £5 a month, I wouldn’t put yourself through it. Read my thread for the full saga. It has been an absolute disgrace.

Unfortunately, iD Mobile doesn’t offer price matching against deals from other providers. However, before deciding to leave, we’d recommend contacting our Sales Team via Live Chat, as they can review the upgrade options available to you and see if there’s a more suitable deal available.

Please also be aware that taking out a new iD Mobile contract rather than upgrading can result in having two separate contracts, and we’re unable to transfer your existing iD number directly between two iD Mobile accounts.

​@Simon73 Hi simon 👋 i was in a situation whereas i was going to cancel 1 of my 2 id contracts but it was a lot of hassel because i wanted to keep my main phone number bùt it got confusing because the contract i wanted to keep it meant changing my main number over to my second contract   now because id dont transfer numbers internally it meant i was in a bit of a situation so a family member gave me a site to look on ! Now i dont want to rock the boat or upset id mobile on here but ive found a site that does refurbished phones and you still get a years warranty on them ! And you can get upgrade phones for id mobile on there a lot cheaper than getting a new phone through id website my refurbished iphone 16 is being delivered tomorrow 🎊. Now even though these phones are refurbished dont let it put you off there like 14 day return phones that people didnt want and/ or changed there minds ! So basically i get to keep my main number in the phone coming tomorrow yes im still having 2 contracts for the time being but its not costing me a arm and a leg 👍
