Question

You can't trade in Pixel 9 Pros (or any Pixel 9)?

I am eligible for an upgrade.  However, there doesn’t appear to be a way to trade in Google Pixel 9s at all?

Both the IMEI number and the model type (Pixel 9 Pro) result in “handset not found.

Am I missing something?

Hi, I did. They said they didn't actually do any trade-ins at all. When I queried why there was the option on their website they said that actually that was Currys/CarphoneWarehouse and that I should contact them.…

Which I did. There is no trader in for Pixel 9 Pro there either. Speaking to them they suggested the only way to do it would be to go in to a shop. Not going to bother with that.

Firstly on my experience there is zero point talking to any staff in either place. Secondly, the upgrade is only with Id Mobile since it is an upgrade on an existing and ongoing SIM contract. That would just compound the frustration of the first pint.

So, I'm not going to upgrade.

Hi @Peter55  we absolutely do offer a trade in service, but if your handset doesn’t come up on the list then I’m afraid we are unable to accept it as a trade in at the moment - Sell Your Phone | Mobile Phone Trade In | iD Mobile Network
