I want to upgrade my phone, the offers I’ve found online with ID are cheaper and better compared the ones on my app for some reason. When I’ve gone to get a new contract on the app it’s saying I can’t use a PAC number as I’m already with ID therefore can’t keep my number but I don’t understand why I can’t get the cheaper deal on the app as an upgrade rather than start again

Hi @Jessica Argent

New customer deals and upgrade deals are often different, if you’re not seeing an upgrade deal you’re happy with we’d recommend contacting the sales team on 0207 1391 397 to see if there’s anything else they can offer you.

It wouldn’t be possible to transfer a number directly from an existing iD Mobile plan to another iD Mobile plan.

Hi there @Jessica Argent

The ones online are the ‘dangle the carrot’ deals to entice new customers. Often those prices are cheaper.

But hang on. Online will think you want to be a new customer, hence the error you’re seeing. And as you already are you can’t have 2 phones on the same number. If you’re not careful you might end up with 2 separate contracts!!!

Sadly, unless you want to leave iD and then come back as a new customer the app deals are the ones you need to be looking at.
