When does my add-on start?
Our Roam Beyond add-ons will start immediately after you purchase them. To avoid incurring out-of-plan charges at your destination, we recommend buying the add-on while you are still in the UK. Alternatively, you can turn your roaming off, arrive at your new destination, connect to local secure Wi-Fi, and then purchase an add-on.
How long does my add-on last?
Our Roam Beyond data add-ons last for 1 day, 5 days, or 10 days. These can run across different billing periods depending on when you purchased them. You can check when an add-on is due to expire by going to the dashboard of your iD Mobile app or on my.idmobile.co.uk under ‘Add-ons’.
Can I cancel an add-on?
Unfortunately, you cannot cancel an add-on once bought. Your add-on will simply expire after its duration (1, 5, or 10 days), depending on which add-on you purchased.
Will my Bill Cap affect my add-on?
No, add-ons are not included in your Bill Cap. For example, if your Bill Cap is set at £0 and you buy a £5 add-on, the purchase will still go through, and you will still have £0 left on your Bill Cap for other chargeable services.
Do add-ons carry over after a plan change/upgrade?
Yes, your add-on will remain on your account even if you change your plan.
I’ve gone over my allowance - can I cover it with an add-on?
If you go over your allowance, you’ll be charged out-of-bundle rates until you buy an add-on. Remember, your add-on can’t be backdated or used to cover past usage. However, once you’ve bought the add-on, it will help you limit further charges by providing much better value data.
