We're sorry to hear about the unexpected roaming charges.

The amount charged will depend on which country you're in and whether your phone is using data, calls, texts, or a combination of these. In some destinations outside of our inclusive roaming zones, background data usage alone can cause your bill cap to be reached quite quickly, even if you're not actively using your phone.
