call from UAE to UK

If you're in Dubai and using a separate eSIM for data, you'll need to make sure your iD Mobile SIM has enough available spending to make calls.

Calls from the UAE to UK numbers are chargeable and cost £6.00 per minute, so you'll need to increase your bill cap before the call can connect.

You can do this through the iD Mobile app or your online account:

1. Sign in to your iD Mobile account.
2. Go to Account.
3. Select Bill Cap.
4. Increase the bill cap and save the changes.
5. Restart your phone and try the call again.

It's also worth noting that the UAE has restrictions on certain calling services. As a result, apps such as FaceTime and WhatsApp calling may not work while you're there. You could try using Instagram calling as an alternative, although availability can vary.
