I have a Thai sim (AIS) enabled for WiFi calling so I can call Thailand from anywhere in the world. If I have WiFi using my Thai plan minutes.
is there any reason ID mobile cannot do this, so I can call UK on WiFi calling from abroad, instead I just can use WiFi calling when inside the uk under poor phone signal conditions.
Any comments ??

Thanks for your question.
At the moment, iD Mobile Wi-Fi Calling is intended for use in the UK. If you're in a country that's not included in iD Mobile's roaming destinations, such as Thailand, iD Mobile services won't work there unless you've purchased the appropriate roaming data add-on or have enough bill cap available for any applicable charges.
As things stand, iD Mobile doesn't support using Wi-Fi Calling abroad in the same way that some overseas providers, such as AIS, do.
We appreciate the feedback though, and it's certainly something we'd be happy to pass on.

International Wifi Calling would be an enormously cheap feature to add and would be a excellent emergency calling option to call home from anywhere on your UK call plan.
Maybe something for the future….
