Cant change APN settings - data roaming not working

Hello,

I’ve recently switched from Vodafone to ID Mobile, but my data roaming does not seem to be working and I can’t manually change my APN settings from Vodafone to the ID mobile ones.

 

please help

Sorry to hear you’re having trouble with your data roaming since switching over. 

 

To help narrow this down, could you let us know which country you’re currently in, as you have mentioned your roaming data is not working? Roaming coverage and settings can vary depending on location, so that’ll help point you in the right direction.

 

In the meantime, here are a few things you can try:

  • Make sure Data Roaming is switched ON in your phone settings
  • Restart your phone after inserting your iD Mobile SIM
  • Try manually selecting a network (choose a supported local network rather than automatic)
  • Double-check that your iD Mobile SIM is fully activated and your number transfer has completed
  • If your phone is still showing Vodafone APN settings and won’t let you change them ensure that the old SIM is removed and that you are only using the iD SIM, then try a Network Settings Reset (this should refresh the APN to the correct iD settings automatically)
