Charges AFTER buying roaminng add-on

I bought an international roaming add-on for Switzerland using the WiFi at the airport. I got a text confirming the purchase. A few minutes AFTER this I got a text saying that I had used some chargeable roaming services. Shortly later came another to say that I had used 80% of my Bill cap. I didn’t make calls or sends texts so I can’t understand why these charges appear.

Those notifications aren’t instant. They were likely for data usage before the add-on purchase. Data usage is date and time stamped so iD Mobile can confirm this.

Hello ​@Natalie W - I can’t say yet because it is for the current bill period (in fact it was today). I do know that I didn’t make or receive any calls nor send any texts (one iMessage after I bought the add-on) and received only the texts from iDMobile - hence my surprise! The app shows that all £5 of the bill cap got used. I had mobile data turned off because I had it in flight mode and bought the add-on while I was connected to the WiFi in the airport terminal.
