Is it true that iDMobile has no coverage in Poland?  I am currently in Wrocław and banked on using my data, but can’t connect to the internet at all 😔

Hi @Juney00 ,

Thanks for your update. It sounds like the issue may indeed have been related to the handset, especially since it was an older model (iPhone 8). Sometimes older phones can struggle to maintain a stable 4G/5G connection abroad, even when the network shows as connected.
It’s great that you’re back home now, if you notice any further issues on your usual network here, let us know and we can check your account and coverage.

No it’s not true. Please search manually for a network and use one of the following roaming partners Orange, Polkomtel Plus GSM, T-Mobile, P4 Sp. z o.o

H @Juney00 ,

I understand how frustrating it must be not to have internet while abroad. iD Mobile does offer roaming in Poland, so you should be able to use mobile data and calls there.

Here are a few things to check on your phone:

-Roaming is turned on – Go to your phone settings and make sure data roaming is enabled.

-Network selection – Set your network to automatic so your phone can connect to a local partner network.

-Restart your phone – This can help your phone pick up the network.

-Check your plan – Make sure your plan includes EU roaming and you haven’t reached any limits.

Thank for your replies.  I am home now, but I am thinking maybe it was a problem with the phone as I tried all the above, left it to automatically search for a network - it selected Play, and also searched manually and selected Orange.  It showed it was connected by but only 3G. It was my husbands phone which is getting on a bit (iPhone 8) so maybe it was the phone.
