🌍 Roaming in France (Disneyland Paris)

France is part of our Roam Free destinations, so your daughter can use her UK allowance (up to 30GB fair usage) at no extra cost no add-on needed 👍
 

📶 Network selection in France

You’re absolutely right to raise this — while most phones connect automatically, we do recommend manually selecting a network if there are any signal issues.
 

✅ Preferred partner networks in France:

Your daughter should connect to one of the following:

• Orange
• Free Mobile
• Bouygues Telecom

👉 These are all compatible with iD Mobile roaming.
 

🔧 How to manually select a network on the handset
📱 On iPhone:
1. Go to Settings
2. Tap Mobile Data
3. Tap Network Selection
4. Turn Automatic OFF
5. Wait for networks to load
6. Select Orange / SFR / Bouygues

📱 On Android:
1. Go to Settings
2. Tap Connections / Mobile Networks
3. Tap Network Operators
4. Turn off Select Automatically
5. Choose Orange / SFR / Bouygues

📡 Make sure roaming is switched ON
In the iD Mobile app:
1. Open the app
2. Tap My Account
3. Go to Manage Settings
4. Ensure Data Roaming is ON

On the phone:

• iPhone: Settings → Mobile Data → Mobile Data Options → Data Roaming ON
• Android: Settings → Mobile Networks → Data Roaming ON

💷 Set Bill Cap to £0 (to avoid any charges)
1. In the iD Mobile app:
2. Open the app
3. Tap My Account
4. Go to Billing
5. Tap Bill Cap
Set to £0 and confirm

✔️ This prevents any out-of-plan spend completely.
