Yes, the 10-day Roam Beyond add-on starts immediately when you purchase it. The 10 days are consecutive it isn't a bank of 10 individual days that you can pause and use later. iD Mobile states that Roam Beyond passes activate immediately and expire after their stated duration.

So, for example, if you bought the 10-day pass and used it for 5 days before returning home, the remaining 5 days would not be saved for a future holiday. The pass would continue running and expire after the 10-day period.

It's therefore best to purchase it when you're ready to use it, rather than weeks or months in advance. iD Mobile also recommends buying it on the day you travel or after arriving at your destination using secure Wi-Fi.

Also, Roam Beyond is data-only; calls and texts aren't included and may be charged separately.
