Hi, I turned off mobile data and data roaming before leaving uk but still have a data charge appear now I’m in Tunisia , how can this be please ?

Hi there @John Downes, you will need to ensure roaming is off via your phone’s own settings and the iD Mobile app/website. We’d also recommend changing your bill cap to £0.00 to ensure no charges can be taken and you don’t connect at all.

Believe it is something to do with WiFi assist that uses your mobile network if your WiFi data speeds are poor. It seems if you have data roaming switched off but WiFi assist on it will use mobile data if needed.
