Question

Do I still get to use all my data while roaming (in included countries) or is there a 30GB limit?

I’m travelling around Europe and I’m confused whether I have 30gb of roaming data or if i can use all of my allowance (100gb a month). I’ve seen conflicting answers so would be great if I could clear this up.

    Hi ​@Sr10,

     

    Thanks for getting in touch. We understand the confusion, as the roaming allowance has changed over time.

     

    If you're travelling in one of our inclusive European roaming destinations, you can use your full UK data allowance while roaming. So, if your plan includes 100GB of data, you'll be able to use up to 100GB in those eligible destinations.

     

    If you'd like to avoid any unexpected charges while you're away, we'd recommend setting your bill cap to £0.00 before you travel. You can do this by:

    • Logging into the iD Mobile app or My Account online.
    • Going to Bills.
    • Selecting Manage Bill Cap.
    • Setting the bill cap to £0.00.
