Great question! With iD Mobile, roaming is included on all plans, so you can use your UK data, minutes and texts abroad at no extra cost in 50 selected destinations.

You can use your normal allowance while roaming, up to 30GB (fair usage applies). These are known as “Roam Free” destinations, which include most of Europe and a few other countries.

If you travel outside of those destinations, standard roaming charges will apply unless you purchase a roaming add-on.

A few handy tips to avoid extra charges:

• Always check your destination before you travel, as not all countries are included
• Try to stay within the 30GB roaming limit
• Set a bill cap in the iD app for peace of mind
• Turn off data roaming if you’re outside included destinations
• Use Wi-Fi where possible, especially for streaming or large downloads
• Avoid using your phone at sea (like on ferries or cruises), as this can be very costly
