Question

European Roaming with Pay Monthly SIM

Hi

I’m travelling to France and Belgium this week using my newly acquired pay monthly SIM. do i need to do anything to activate or authorise this or is it included within my package and ready to go?

    Hi ​@jeggins,

     

    You shouldn't need to do anything before you travel. France and Belgium are both included in our roaming destinations, so as long as your SIM is active, roaming should be ready to use when you arrive.

     

    A few tips before you go:

    • Make sure Data Roaming is enabled in your phone settings.
    • Restart your phone when you arrive if it doesn't connect automatically.
    • Check that your bill cap is set to an amount you're comfortable with, or £0 if you'd like to prevent unexpected charges.
    • If you experience any issues connecting, try manually selecting a local network.
