international add on Thailand

If i buy the International Add On for Thailand do thec150 minutes include all data requirements e.g. WhatsApp, facetime, Google maps? Thanks

Thanks you for your post. The International Add On covers minutes only, so it wouldn't cover data. Apps like WhatsApp, FaceTime and Google Maps use data, so they wouldn't be included in the 150 minutes.

Thanks for your reply. Please could you confirm exactly what it does cover and if there is a package to buy data as there is with other mobile providers?

If you’re looking for data while abroad, you can purchase a Roam Beyond add-on. These add-ons are data-only, so they don’t include standard calls or texts.

The current options are:

2GB for £5, valid for 1 day
10GB for £20, valid for 5 days
20GB for £35, valid for 10 days

To purchase a Roam Beyond add-on:

Open the iD Mobile app or log in to My Account.
Select UK & Roam Beyond Add-ons.
Select the Roam Beyond tab.
Search for the country you’re visiting.
Choose the add-on that best suits your trip.
Select Confirm, then Done.

Please note that Roam Beyond add-ons activate immediately when purchased, so we recommend purchasing one on the day you travel while you’re still in the UK.

Depending on how long you’ll be away, it may also be more cost-effective to consider purchasing a local SIM for your data usage.
