mobile data not working abroad

In Amsterdam and mobile data is not working.  All your suggestions have NOT worked.  My 18 year old son uses this phone so this is a HUGE worry that he can't use his phone.  Please advise.

Thanks for getting in touch and we’re really sorry to hear your son is having issues with mobile data in Amsterdam.

 

We understand how worrying this is, especially when he needs his phone while away from home.

 

As a first step, please make sure the phone is connected to one of iD Mobile’s approved roaming partners in the Netherlands. Depending on the area, this can vary, so we’d recommend checking which networks are currently available and supported here:

 https://community.idmobile.co.uk/roaming-76/which-roaming-destinations-are-included-in-my-plan-45112, however he should connect to one of the following:

  • KPN
  • Vodafone
  • Odido

 

Once there, try manually selecting each available network and testing data after each selection. Also ensure:

  • Data Roaming is switched ON
  • Airplane Mode is turned off and restarted
  • The device has been restarted after changing networks

 

If there is still no data after trying all available networks, it may be that the phone is not correctly registering on the roaming partner network and will need further investigation by our support team.

Thank you so much for your response.  We tried all of these.  None of it worked. He reset his network settings and that resolved the problem.
