my roaming data has rum out far too quickly

I am in France and my data has run out after just three days . I don’t understand how this is possible.

    Hi ​@timgilp ,

     

    I’m sorry your data ran out so quickly in France. This can happen if apps are using data in the background or if your roaming allowance is limited.

    Please check your data usage in Settings and turn off background data for apps. Also use Wi-Fi where possible.

    Thankyou. I don’t know how to check data useage historically. Also I don’t know how to turnoff background data for apps. Sorry.
