New roaming deal for Switzerland

Recent announcement (13/07/26) on Gov.UK website states that a recent trade deal means that "British people will also be able to enjoy using their mobile in Switzerland without extra roaming charges". I am a frequent visitor to Switzerland, when does this come into effect for iD customers.

    Thanks for your question.

     

    At the moment, Switzerland is not included in iD Mobile's Inclusive Roaming destinations, so our current roaming charges and add-ons for Switzerland still apply.

     

    We appreciate that you've seen the recent UK Government announcement. However, we haven't yet received any information confirming changes to iD Mobile's roaming policy as a result of this.

     

    If there are any updates in the future, we'll make sure they're announced on the iD Community, so we'd recommend keeping an eye on our announcements there.
