no coverage whilst travelling in Germany

Hi, I have been travelling in Europe this summer and have great network coverage in Netherlands and Denmark but nothing at all in Germany. I have tried all the troubleshooting steps suggested, manual network selection, sim out/in, hard restart etc, but to no effect. When will iD mobile correct this issue as I needed to hotspot from my Lebara sim which was working fine! The ‘no service’ appears as soon as I cross over the border into Germany.

Thank you for the detailed information, and sorry to hear you've had no coverage in Germany despite trying all the troubleshooting steps, that's frustrating, especially when travelling.

Could you let us know if you've tried manually selecting O2 or Telekom as your network while in Germany?

i certainly manually individually selected all the networks that were available to me, but I cannot recall if they were the ones you mention. But the result was ‘no service’
