no incoming calls when roaming

I am currently in Morocco and not getting incoming calls. I have a data SIM for roaming and have selected my ID Mobile SIM as the voice calls one, data roaming is on, international calls are on.

why when someone calls me from the UK are they not coming through? I am on Orange which is the partner network here.

    Hi @NickC84 ,

I’m really sorry you’re having this issue while abroad.  I understand how important it is to receive calls.

Since you are in Morocco and using the partner network Orange Maroc, please check the following for iD Mobile:

Make sure roaming is enabled on your phone
    Set Network Selection → Automatic
Restart your phone after selecting the network manually
Check that Call Forwarding is not turned on
Ensure VoLTE / 4G calling is enabled if available

Incoming calls may sometimes fail if the roaming registration is not fully established on the partner network.

Thank you. I think it’s because there is a charge per minute for incoming calls isn’t there?

    Hi @NickC84 ,

You’re welcome  and yes, you are correct to question this.

With iD Mobile, roaming charges may apply to incoming calls when you are outside the UK, including in Morocco, depending on your roaming plan.

If your roaming add-on or plan charges per minute for incoming calls, then calls from the UK may be failing or being diverted if the roaming service cannot establish a stable connection.

    Please also make sure:
    Roaming is enabled
    Network is set to Automatic
Your phone is restarted after connecting to Orange Maroc

    Hi @NickC84 ,

Thank you for confirming, I’m really glad to hear that.

I’m happy the settings are all correct on your side for iD Mobile.

While you are roaming in Morocco on the partner network Orange Maroc, incoming calls can sometimes take a little time to fully register on the roaming network.

If you notice any further issues receiving calls, please restart your phone once more and test again.

Have a great time, and thank you for checking in
