Question

No Roaming Button iPhone

I am in Greece and I cannot get roaming on my iPhone XR. Roaming is activated on my ID Mobile account but when I go to Setting>Mobile Service there is no Roaming button to activate. I’ve had no problem in previous years. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Hi there @Questor18, sorry to hear that. Have you tried resetting your network settings?

    Thanks,

    Tyler

Thanks, Tyler. I have tried that, on your prompt, but it hasn't made any difference.

Hi there @Questor18, sorry to hear that.

Normally when greyed out, this indicates an issue with the device or the devices settings and not the network.

Where did you purchase this device please?

    Thanks,

    Tyler

    Thanks, Tyler.

Just for clarity, the button isn’t greyed out, it doesn’t appear at all. The phone was originally obtained in Australia but I didn’t have any connection problems when I was on a similar trip this time last year. It is running the latest version of IOS 18.

    Regards, Brian

Hey there Brian @Questor18, it may be a setting/device issue where you may need to contact who you purchased off, as if you ordered it directly from iD Mobile, we wouldn’t turn off or block out roaming on your device.

    Thanks,

    Tyler

    Hi Tyler,

I have managed to resolve my issue. I had an unused eSIM installed which I removed using the ‘Delete all eSIM’s’ under the phone’s Settings>Reset. This opened up several settings for the physical sim, including Roaming.

    thanks for your help, Brian
