No signal at all in Macedonia

Hi,

I am abroad in Macedonia and have no signal whatsoever. I have restarted my phone, reset my APN to default and removed and reinserted my SIM card. I've also tried to manually select a mobile network. I still have no signal. I am using a Pixel 9. Please could I someone advise me how to resolve this?

I am so sorry to hear you’re having trouble getting signal while abroad.

Thank you for letting us know that you have tried some troubleshooting steps, this helps us know what to do next. When you’re in Macedonia, you’ll need to make sure your phone is connected to a supported network partner. For iD Mobile, this is usually Vip Operator (A1), so it’s worth double-checking that your device is connected to that network.

Here are a few additional things you can try:

Go to your network settings and manually select Vip Operator / A1 if it’s available
Make sure Data Roaming is switched ON in your phone settings
Check that your plan has roaming enabled and that you haven’t reached any usage caps
Try switching your phone to 2G/3G/4G auto instead of 5G only, as coverage abroad can vary
