I am currently abroad with my daughter, we both have id mobile and they are both registered in my name. She can call me but I cant call her, it comes up as number not valid. Any ideas?

    Hi @Amyrob69,

We're sorry to hear you're having trouble making calls to your daughter while you're abroad.

If your daughter is able to call you but you receive a "number not valid" message when trying to call her, we'd recommend checking that you're dialling her number in the correct international format (for example, +44 instead of the leading 0 if you're calling her UK number while abroad).

If you're already doing this, we'd recommend:

    • Restarting your phone.
    • Turning Airplane Mode on for around 30 seconds, then back off.
    • Manually selecting one of our roaming partners before switching back to Automatic.
    • Checking that your bill cap is high enough to allow outgoing calls while roaming, as calls made abroad may be chargeable depending on your location.

If the issue continues after trying the above, please get in touch with our Customer Service team via Live Chat so they can investigate further: https://www.idmobile.co.uk/live-chat

We hope this gets resolved for you quickly so you can enjoy the rest of your trip.

    Regards,

She is with me. She doesnt have to put +44 in to call me so Im not sure that is the correct answer.
