Only WiFi working in Spain

Unable to use 4/5G in Spain. Phone appears to be connected to Movistar, but definitely not connected. Having to rely on finding WiFi, very annoying. Have tried airline mode, switching on/off, roaming on/off etc. Arrived 48 hours ago, nothing other than WiFi

I am so sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your data in Spain. 

 

Since you’ve already tried a few steps, here are a couple more things that can help:

  • Make sure data roaming is turned on in your settings
  • Manually select a different network instead of automatic, while Movistar is one option, it’s worth trying Yoigo as well
  • Toggle Airplane Mode on for 30 seconds, then back off
  • Restart your phone
  • Check your APN settings are correct (these can be found on the iD Mobile website)
  • Reset your network settings (this can often refresh the connection)
