phone bill incorrect

Hi, I recently travelled to Greece and whilst on my trip I checked that roaming was enabled on my plan which it was. However, on returning home I have received a nearly £40 roaming charged added to my bill and I’m just wondering why as I was within a roaming area for my whole trip. I’m extremely concerned as I simply cannot afford the bill this month and don’t want to loose access to to my mobile. Please help

@abbykateblakey15  But were you connect to one of the agreed networks while in Greece?

Did you do a manual search for available network's. Your bill should show the break down of your cost.

Hi, yes we checked this when we landed on the website and used the roaming checker. Ive spoken to someone at ID who contradicted the website a lot and said Greece was not all roam free only certain parts which isn’t stated on their site anywhere! They have agreed to wave most of the bill- as they should in my opinion.

Hi @abbykateblakey15 We’re really sorry to hear about the unexpected roaming charges we understand how concerning that must be. Please send us a direct message via the following link: https://community.idmobile.co.uk/inbox/overview  we would love the opportunity to take a closer look at your bill and put things right for you.

@abbykateblakey15  OK but still let staff here check your account as per @Marquerita T reply.

Thanks for post a follow-up.

Joe 😉

I’ve spent a considerable amount of time on the phone to the complaints team who have looked through my account and networks, is it necessary to go through this all again despite receiving a solution and an apology from ID ??? 🤣
