phone won’t roam in Germany

Hi, my iPhone isn’t roaming in Germany but recently was working in Italy. I have tried to turn on and off a few times and failed to work all day yesterday.

Hi @Vjgemini.

Thank you for sharing. I’m sorry that your iPhone hasn’t been roaming in Germany. I understand how frustrating it is to be without service, especially after it worked well in Italy.

Please try selecting a network manually:

Go to Settings > Mobile Service (or Mobile Data).
Tap Network Selection and turn off Automatic.
Wait for the list of networks to load, then choose o2 or Telekom.

Please also check that Data Roaming is switched on in the same menu.

While you’re roaming, please keep your bill cap set to £0. This means you won’t be charged for anything outside your plan, such as usage on a network that isn’t covered.
