Hi @wyeoman
You can keep track of your roaming usage through the iD Mobile app or your online account.
When you’re travelling, any usage in the EU will be taken from your inclusive roaming allowance, while usage in the UK will come from your standard monthly plan. These are tracked together in your account, so you’ll see your overall data, minutes, and texts usage rather than a fully separated UK vs EU breakdown.
To monitor what you’ve used each month:
- Log in to the iD Mobile app or My Account online
- Check your usage/allowances section to see how much data, minutes, and texts you have remaining
- Review your recent activity or bill for a more detailed view of when and where usage occurred
- Note that iD Mobile will send you an SMS text alert if a roaming limit or cap ever applies and you reach 80% or 100% of that threshold.
To avoid unexpected charges once your allowance is used up. Please keep your bill CAP on £0 to avoid out of plan charges.
- Open the iD Mobile app or login online
- Go to My Services
- Select Bill Cap
- Increase the bill cap amount
- Save the changes
Use Your Phone's Manual Tracker:
Because the app tracks total usage rather than a separate roaming breakdown, setting a manual counter on your phone is the best way to see what you use specifically while abroad.
iPhone: Go to Settings > Mobile Service (or Mobile Data), scroll down to the app list, and tap Reset Statistics right when you arrive abroad to start a fresh count.
Android: Go to Settings > Network & internet > Mobile network (or Data usage) to view your data usage, keeping in mind you may need to note the total when you start your trip.
This information ONLY applies to countries included in the free-roaming with iD Mobile. These can be found here:-

Hope this helps x
